Porter joined the Disney TMR program in July 2017 and is currently a Manager of Product Management in Orlando. Prior to joining Disney, Porter served 10 years in the U.S. Navy as an Officer and Fighter Pilot in the E/A-18 Growler aircraft. During this time, he held multiple leadership roles, each interacting with technology, operations, and strategic planning. His expertise includes project/product management, IoT, NFC/BLE communication protocols, ML/AI, NLP, computer vision models, quality assurance, and cross-functional team leadership. Porter attended the MIT Sloan School of Management where he earned his MBA in 2017. He also holds a Bachelors in Computer Science & Business from Pepperdine University.

Porter’s second rotation was as a Manager of Technology, where he led a development team in emerging technologies such as Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence. During his first rotation Porter supported the Parks & Resorts Digital team, where he worked as a Sr. Product Manager for various hardware components and product strategy essential to Disney theme parks around the world. During the summer of 2016, Porter interned with the TMR Program where he worked with a digital product development team within Disney Enterprise Technology.


Hany joined the program in 2017 after receiving her MBA from MIT Sloan. She is currently rotating in Seattle with the Attractions Technology team working in AI/ML. In her first rotation with Enterprise Technology, Hany worked on a solution to enable sharing and harmonization of consumer master data across Disney’s segments. Her second rotation was with ESPN, working on real time data analytics. During her third rotation she worked with the Studios Technology team as a Product Manager.


Emeka joined the Disney TMR program in July 2014 and is currently in his third rotation in the program Supporting Parks & Resorts Technology in Orlando, FL. In his first rotation, Emeka worked with publishing’s global operations team to enhance and improve a publication planning application and reengineer a number of publishing’s business processes, while maintaining the application’s alignment with the business. In his recent rotation, Emeka worked with ABC technologies to build a cloud-based big data platform that utilizes various state of the art tools to help ABC capture, analyze and present data. Prior to joining Disney, Emeka spent over 5 years with Georgia Pacific as a senior systems analyst, senior technical analyst and project manager, working extensively with EDI applications and the supporting infrastructure. His expertise includes technology solutions, project/product management, vendor management and business technology strategy. Emeka attended the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), where he earned his MBA. He also holds a B.S. in Computer/Mathematical Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As an associate in the TMR program, Emeka is very excited about the exposure to various segments’ leadership, products and unique experiences. He currently lives in Studio City with his wife and son where he enjoys hiking, reading, movies, sports and occasionally binge-watching television shows.


Laura recently joined the program in 2018 after graduating from Harvard’s Business School with her Masters in Business Administration. Laura also holds a Bachelors in Human Factors Engineering from Tufts University. Prior to joining Disney, Laura completed a MBA internship with Apple, worked as an Associate Product Manager & User Experience Analyst at The New York Times. Laura is currently supporting the Digital Guest Experience & eCommerce team.


Vipul joined the Disney TMR program in July 2013 and is currently a Manager, Enterprise Strategic Programs, for Disney Technology Solutions and Services in Glendale, CA. In his first rotation, Vipul was focused on product management and strategy for mobile applications at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts Online. In his later rotations, Vipul developed the strategy and roadmap for the Media Technology and Strategy team at ABC, developed the requirements for an Enterprise wide email marketing solution. Prior to joining Disney, Vipul spent over 5 years with Amgen, Inc. in multiple technology and business roles. His expertise includes strategy, product management, project management, and project leadership. Vipul attended the University of Southern California where he earned his MBA and Masters in Computer Science. He also holds a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai. As an Alumnus of the TMR program, Vipul appreciates the opportunity to work with a breadth of products, people and experiences. He currently lives in Sherman Oaks and enjoys photography, poker, reading and board games.


John joined the Disney TMR program in 2015 and is currently a Manager, Engineering in Seattle, WA. His first rotation was focused on increasing Development and System Engineering productivity by automating the creation and deployment of application environments for Disney applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS). This enabled engineers in key business segments, such as ABC, to release new applications and updates faster to reduce the overall time to market. His responsibilities included product management, program and project management, systems architecture and development management. John’s third rotation was with Disney Parks & Resorts where he supported innovation. Prior to working at Disney, John was a Program Manager at Microsoft, leading efforts in security, anti-piracy and business intelligence. John attended the University of Washington, where he earned his MBA in Technology Management. He also holds a Bachelors of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota.


Shaili joined the Disney TMR program after earning her MBA in Technology Management from University of Washington and Bachelor in Biology from Baldwin Wallace University. Prior to joining Disney, she worked at various telecommunication companies including T-Mobile where she was the Technical Product Manager on their flagship T-Mobile Application. For her first rotation, Shaili will support the Enterprise Technology Team as a Change Management Leader.


Nishant recently joined the program after graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with his Masters in Business Administration. Nishant also holds a Bachelors in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology and a Masters in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon. He also interned with Disney’s Enterprise Technology team. Prior to joining Disney, He worked for the Boeing Company, where he worked across a variety of technical roles ranging from Software Developer to Program Manager. Nishant is currently supporting the Systems Engineering group as a Product Manager.


Patrick recently joined the program after graduating from Georgetown University with his Masters of Business Administration. Patrick also holds a Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida. Prior to joining Disney, Patrick was a Principal Investigator and Software Engineer at Harris Corporation. Patrick is currently supporting the Enterprise Technology team.


Amit joined the program in July 2016 after graduating from Boston University Questrom School of Management with his Masters of Business Administration. Amit holds an Information Technology degree from Kurukshetra University. Amit was a Product Owner for his first rotation with Marvel Studios Technology. As a Product Manager at ESPN for his second rotation, Amit focused on consumer data on ESPN’s digital properties. Amit’s third rotation was with the Technology Studio team at Walt Disney Imagineering. Amit’s final rotation was with the Data Products and Analytics team. Amit is currently a Robotics Process Automation Delivery Manager.


Deepti joined the program in July 2016 after graduating from MIT with her Masters of Business Administration. Prior to joining Disney, Deepti worked at Amazon as a Sr. Product Manager Intern and Goldman Sachs as an Associate Business Analyst & Product Owner. Deepti rotated through Studios Technology for her first rotation working on In-Home Digital Distribution. Her second rotation was with the Innovations team in Disney Parks & Resorts Digital. Her third rotation was with the shopDisney Product Management team. Deepti holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York. Currently, Deepti is a Sr. Product Manager with BAMTech.


Nasia’s love of Disney began at a very early age, with her middle name Aurora, named after the princess in Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. She has a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an Arts degree from Duke. She also received her MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology’s Scheller College of Business. Nasia’s second rotation supported Parks & Resort Digital underneath the Photopass group, where her project included managing the software developers who handle Photopass on both the web and iOS/Android platforms. In the rotation she gained knowledge of Agile software development and also Amazon Web Service Cloud services. Nasia is currently a Manager, Program Management in Burbank, CA.


Chad joined the TMR program in July 2014 and is currently a Manager, Product Development with Movies Anywhere. During his third rotation supporting Disney Consumer Products & Interactive Chad led the development of an analytics platform for Playmation. He also worked with Studios Technology to replace the Disney Music Group’s royalties management system. Prior to joining Disney full time, Chad completed an MBA internship with the Walt Disney Studios where he provided analytics support to His expertise includes project management, product management, and data analysis. These skills were honed by spending nine years developing and selling software to the U.S. Department of Defense with the boutique consultancy, ThinkQ. Chad has a B.S. in Computer Science and attended UC Irvine’s, The Paul Merage School of Business where he focused his MBA on Marketing and Technology. Chad migrated west from Flower Mound, Texas in 2005 and currently lives in Hollywood where he enjoys hiking Runyon Canyon and practicing Gracie Jiu Jitsu.


Liraz joined the Disney TMR program in July 2014 and is currently a Sr. Manager of Product & Technology Innovation for Disney Technology Solutions and Services, in Seattle, WA. In her first rotation, Liraz worked with the Guest Experience group in Disney Interactive to create one centralized end-to-end platform from inception to production state across Disney Interactive and The Walt Disney Company. Roles and responsibilities included strategy, product management and technology management of a remote team of developers. In her most recent rotation, she worked with Disney’s Technology Solutions and Services group to lead the design the creation of an internal service that will automate the onboarding process for the company’s identity service: OneID. The new automated service – named Launchpad – will help business units across The Walt Disney Company to onboard to the service more quickly and will meaningfully reduce the costs and resources that are invested in the process today. Responsibilities included product owner, product management, engineering management (managing a team of 12 which includes a PM, BA Architect, UI and Server developers and SDET QA engineers). Liraz brings with her over 7 years in startups and blue-chip companies such as Microsoft, McAfee and Adobe and more than 10 years of working with nonprofit organizations such as the “No-Drugs Center” and the “Aditim” project for periphery youth. Liraz began her career at the Israeli Defense Force responsible for 200 soldiers in areas such as salaries, promotions and vacations. It was in the military that Liraz discovered the power technology has to positively impact people’s lives. She was awarded with an honorary diploma for excellence for initiating a project that brought communication into the base and automated all manual human resource processes. Her areas of expertise include leadership, technology strategy, product management, Technology management and innovation. Liraz holds an MBA degree from the MIT Sloan School of Business with a certificate in Enterprise Management, and Bachelor of Science, double major in Computer Science & Management from Tel Aviv University.
